EDMONTON – Police say a three-year-old girl has been found dead in a home near downtown Edmonton.
Police say officers were called Saturday to a multi-unit residence in the area of 91 Street and Jasper Avenue.
They say the circumstances around the child’s death are suspicious, but did not provide more details of how she died.
Edmonton police say its homicide section has taken over the investigation.
Police say an autopsy is scheduled for Wednesday.
No details were provided about possible suspects.
