Fire crews in Edmonton are sharing video on social media of what they call weekend “llama drama.”
The 28-second clip shows crews pulling the dirt-covered llama out of a three-metre-deep sinkhole on Sunday.
It was not an easy extraction.
In its social media thread, Edmonton Fire Rescue Services says the opening of the sinkhole was too small to safely pull the llama out.
But with the help of a mini-excavator and then rescue slings, crews lifted the woolly camelid out of the hole.
The operation was a success and the llama was not injured.
