Hey there, time traveller!

There were three leaders seated at the table, but the first official leaders debate of this provincial election campaign was really a two-man grudge match.
If we can point to any one reason the Liberals are not a force to be reckoned with in this province, it has a great deal to do with Liberal Leader Jon Gerrard’s inability to engage and interject.
Gerrard is a genuinely likable fellow, and some of his ideas are not so out there — investing in research and innovation, committing one per cent of the existing provincial sales tax to infrastructure for municipalities, and reducing water runoff in this province by 25 per cent by improving the watershed’s ability to retain water to prevent flooding.
But unless he’s prepared to roll up his sleeves and get his nose dirty, the Liberals in this province may lose the only seat they’ve got left — Gerrard’s.
