Hey there, time traveller!

“I found a love for me” is a lyric taken from the anticipated wedding song of 2018, “Perfect” by Ed Sheeran. The lyrics describe a beautiful and hopeful love story.
The Manitoba Room in the Keystone Centre was a room full of love and hope on Feb. 4 with more than 700 brides, grooms and family members checking out more than 80 vendors who set up shop for the day at the Westman Wedding Expo 2018.
Celebrating love and helping couples to plan their perfect day, the expo was also celebrating 10 years.
Planning a wedding can be very exciting, but it can also be very stressful trying to make sure every part of the magical day is planned perfectly. The Westman Wedding Expo helps people see that “stressed” is only “desserts” spelled backwards and that planning a wedding does not have to mean stress.
Having every vendor you could possibly need for your special day all in one place made it so much easier for those hopeful lovebirds to accomplish the wedding to-do list with ease — not to mention being able to accomplish it all indoors without having to be out in these frigid temperatures.
Those who attended were entered for a chance to “win their wedding.” A big congratulations to Kelsey Penner, who won her $27,000 dream wedding! Congratulations to those featured in the photos on their upcoming special dates: Diane LaCoste getting married on Aug. 25, Tessa Geurts getting married on Jan. 5, Danny Case and Jaylin Gapka getting married on Aug. 11, and Bryan and Jill Nesbitt, who are already married and expecting their first baby on June 30!
