Hey there, time traveller!

A picture is worth a thousand words, the same can be said about a smile. At Princess Dental your oral health is top priority; you are more than a patient, you are family.
After buying the practice in 2013, Dr. McIntosh has done much to move Princess Dental to the forefront of dentistry. With innovative technology, highly trained staff, and flexible payment plans the team at Princess Dental is committed to offering the best care. Dr. McIntosh has invested significantly to ensure that patients are receiving premium care with the most advanced equipment. This desire to be unique has led Princess Dental to offer multiple sedation options including IV sedation for general dentistry.
“My goal was to bring a world-class dental facility to Brandon. We strive for clinical excellence,” McIntosh said.
This dedication to including the best technology has led to further convenience for patients with the inclusion of the CEREC CAD/CAM machine. Instead of having to take impressions and send crown cases away to be designed and fabricated, the machine removes the need for additional wait times. By creating a 3D graphic of a patient’s mouth, the machine creates crowns, bridges, and surgical guides for implants. All of this is done in office with patient convenience in mind.
The desire to incorporate top of the line technology in their practice can be seen in Princess Dental’s approach to Covid-19. To provide the safest environment for patients, they use surgically clean air purifiers to improve the quality of their indoor air for patients and staff. These medical-grade air purifiers remove chemicals, toxins, germs, and most importantly kill airborne viruses. At Princess Dental they have taken the utmost care by ensuring that staff is equipped with proper PPE. Dr. McIntosh explained that staff and patient safety is a top priority at the practice.
“We do daily temperature checks and Covid screening on all patients and staff when entering the building, taking things very seriously.”
Through all the sanitization steps and Covid-19 precautions patients should not mistake Princess Dental for a cold clinical office. Any new patient can expect to be treated as a member of the Princess Dental family from the moment they step through the door. The team at Princess Dental is a group of warm, welcoming people that genuinely care for every patient under their care. Dr. McIntosh explained that the uplifting atmosphere at Princess Dental extends to staff and patients.
“Our main mission when we come to work is to connect. We care a lot for each other, we’re a family and in turn, our patients feel that.” He said.
The sentiments expressed by Dr. McIntosh were shared by members of the team who described the familial connection they all share. A long-serving member of the team of highly trained hygienists, Heather Gould, described her experience being a part of the Princess Dental family.
“I’ve worked here for 27 years, the team and patients are like family,” she said. “Patient comfort is everything to us, dental work may not always be the most fun but we try to make it as fun as possible.”
The team at Princess Dental put their patients first in all aspects. This patient-focused attitude comes directly from the top which is a sentiment echoed by the Office Manager Jerilyn Miscavish.
“For Dr. McIntosh, continued education in the world of dentistry is so important. He cares about the team; he cares about our patients and inspires a positive office environment,” she said.
With patient comfort at the epicentre of all they do, the layout for the new office was designed with patients in mind. The new office also features state of the art dental technologies, a dedicated sedation suite, and 12 new treatment rooms. The concept for their new location was designed by Adele McIntosh who wanted to create a warm, inviting office environment where patients could feel at ease.
“I tried making it so that everyone coming into our dental office would feel relaxed and at home,” she said.
The team at Princess Dental put effort into ensuring that patients receive the best care possible. Their commitment to upholding the values of generosity, vitality, abundance and connection makes the team at Princess Dental truly distinctive and exceptional. They know that with the right amount of care, your teeth, just like your family can last a lifetime.
