Manitoba’s female soccer team lost 3-1 to Alberta on Thursday and finished in second place in Pool D at the Canada Summer Games in Niagara, Ont.

The squad, which includes Sydney and Kendra Schram of Brandon, will face British Columbia in a consolation semifinal Saturday.

At the Legends of the Niagara golf course, Dauphin’s Eric Prokopowich shot a 2-over 74 and is in a tie for 14th place in the boys golf event.

On the girls side, Killarney’s Cala Korman is in a tie for 12th place after carding a 77.
