The Vincent Massey Vikings split a pair of Prairie West High School Baseball League games in Brandon on Sunday.

In the opener, Nash Stone earned the victory for the Vikings in relief, throwing three innings and striking out seven, while Declan Van Mackerlberg took the loss in 2/3 of an inning of relief in a 12-6 victory over Deloraine-Hartney at Andrews Field. Skylar Ramsey had the big hit for Massey with an inside-the-park grand slam.

BOISSEVAIN 15, MASSEY 6

At Andrews Field, Connor Martin struck out eight in four innings of work and Brett Laing went 3-for-4 at the plate and scored three times in the Boissevain win. Carter Dittmer took the loss, allowing five hits and two walks in two innings, while his teammate Branigan Ferland led the way offensively with a triple and run scored.

VIRDEN 14, SOURIS 9

In Virden, Colby Whittle drove in four runs and Ryan Lewis scored four times in the Virden win. Brady Rhodes went the distance for the win, allowing 12 hits but striking out three. Ty Tosh took the loss in relief of Reagan Anderson. Jackson Kohut went 2-for-3 with a double and a triple, scored twice and drove in a run for Souris.

VIRDEN 11, KILLARNEY 10

In Virden, the hosts drove home the winning run in the eighth inning. Ryan Lewis and Dylan Heritage both drove in two runs and scored twice, and Nathan Rowan earned the victory in relief. None of the Killarney players were identified with full names.

SOURIS 14, RESTON 11

In Reston, Ty Tosh had an RBI and scored three runs and Jackson Kohut drove in two more in the Souris win. Nate McGean won the game in relief of starter Jordan Wurtz. For Reston-Elkhorn, Kurt Rookes and Logan Flannery both drove in a pair of runs, with Rookes taking the loss in relief.

RESTON 10, KILLARNEY 8

In Reston, Logan Flannery scored three runs and drove in two more, while Kurt Rookes had three stolen bases and scored twice for the hosts. Foxx McColl threw six innings of two-hit relief, striking out 14 batters as he earned the victory. Juhad Harder was charged with four runs in two innings of relief in taking the loss. Nick Kummer scored twice and drove in two runs for Killarney, with Drew Shiels also driving home a pair of runs for Killarney.

HAMIOTA 7, MAJOR PRATT 1

In Russell, Jase Wareham threw a complete game six-hitter and struck out eight for the win, and also scored three runs. Xavier Mowbray took the loss after allowing six runs in four innings, with four strikeouts. Josh Chipelski led the hosts offensively with a single and double in three at-bats.

BIRTLE 7, HAMIOTA 5

In Birtle, Ty McKenzie had a home run and three RBI as the hosts won in an extra inning. Dylan Couvier threw four inning in relief for the win, allowing one run and striking out five. Foster Couvier had two hits, two RBI and two runs scored for the winners. Rylan Gage took the loss, allowing four runs in 1 2/3 innings in relief of Colt Brooks. Sawyer Mitchell went 3-for-3 for Hamiota and scored twice.
