For the first time since 2018, Dauphin’s Mark Liwiski is going to play in his home province.

The 21-year-old forward has signed a one-year contract with the American Hockey League’s Manitoba Moose.

Liwiski spent the 2022-23 season with the ECHL’s Wichita Thunder, where he had 10 goals, 7 assists and 192 penalty minutes in 67 games.

Prior to starting his pro career, Liwiski had 52 goals and 44 assists in 204 Western Hockey Leagues games with the Everett Silvertips and the Kelowna Rockets.
