• POSITIONS PLAYED THIS SEASON: Shortstop.
• BATS: Right.
• THROWS: Right.
• FIRST YEAR IN SOFTBALL: Six years old in 2015
• YEARS IN THE MAGIC PROGRAM IN ALL AGE GROUPS: Three.
• WHAT ARE THE BEST PARTS OF YOUR GAME?
The best part of my game is my ability to go after the ball fast and make that strong throw to first to get the runner out. That’s the best feeling.
• WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT PLAYING SOFTBALL?
I enjoy the competition, the challenge, and the fast pace. I feel confident playing softball. The friendships and time with the girls make it even more fun.
• WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT THIS YEAR’S MAGIC TEAM?
We all have a great bond; the girls are lots of fun and every girl on the team brings something different.
• WHAT DOES THIS MAGIC TEAM DO WELL ON THE FIELD?
I think our defence has been strong; we do well keeping the ball in front of us.
• WHAT ARE YOUR HOPES FOR THE TEAM GOING INTO NATIONALS?
I think it’s super exciting being able to do this in Brandon with all of our family and friends cheering us on. It will be a great experience and I’m excited to play amongst Canada’s best.
• WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO THE MOST AT NATIONALS?
I’m really looking forward to the fans. Having that energy behind us in our games feels great and sharing this experience with the girls.
