The Waywayseecappo Wolverines announced the final additions to their leadership group after wearing their new white jerseys on Tuesday.

Neo Kiemeney and Aiden Moser have been named alternate captains along with team captain Guerin Apperley, and alternates Owen Wheatley, Owen Pringle and Sam McPeak.

Kiemeney has been having a solid season, putting up nine goals and seven assists in 22 games after being acquired by the team in the offseason.

“I’m honoured to be recognized by the coaching staff and teammates,” said Kiemeney. “I’m going to continue to lead on and off the ice and be there for my teammates.”

Moser has four goals and 12 assists so far this season, including putting up 11 points in his last 10 games. He’s grateful for the honour.

“To be able to help lead the team through a season of highs and lows, and being a person that players can look up to,” he said. “It keeps me accountable as well.”
