Hey there, time traveller!

It will take 57 games to decide which of the 24 teams involved will go home as champions of the annual Crocus Plains high school hockey tournament.
The event starts today, with the host Plainsmen facing St. John’s Ravenscourt at Enns Brothers Arena at 4:15 p.m.
The Vincent Massey Vikings are next door at Flynn Arena for a 6 p.m. tilt with Sanford.
There are eight pools, with three teams in each.
Plainsmen coach Darren Galatiuk said the tournament will be competitive, with the majority of the teams not involved in the Westman High School Hockey League.
“This will give (Crocus) and Vincent Massey an opportunity to play teams we don’t see in our league,” he said.
Crocus plays its second game on Friday against Fort Francis at Enns Brothers at 9 a.m. The Vikings go to Rivers on Friday to face Beaver Brae at 4 p.m.
Crossover play starts on Saturday to see which teams will advance to the gold and bronze medal games, which take place on Sunday.
