Sophomore Pembina Valley Hawks captain Rory Perrin’s four-point exploits facing the Interlake Lightning earned her player of the week honours in the U15 AAA Manitoba Female Hockey League.

Perrin, who is from Morden, recorded a hat-trick and set up the other goal in her team’s 4-0 victory facing the Lightning.

Considered the best puck stoppers in the league this season based on her stellar statistics, Eastman Selects goaltender Isabelle Labossiere was named goalie of the week.

In her lone weekend game, she improved on her stats after only allowing one goal on 18 shots to defeat the Brandon Wheat Kings 4-1.

She leads the league in wins (14), save percentage (.963), goals-against-average (GAA) (.067) as well as shutouts (six). In 15 league games to date, she’s only allowed 10 pucks past her.
