Noah Mulaw scored a game-high 27 points to pace the Crocus Plainsmen to a 90-80 varsity boys’ victory over the Neelin Spartans to conclude the regular season in the Westman High School Basketball League.
Neelin’s top shooter Wednesday night was Felipe Elizade, who scored 21points.
It was a clean sweep for Crocus, with the JV team prevailing 64-49 over Neelin.
The Plainsmen were led by a 25-point effort from Victor Ademi-Fawaye, while Clark Goran scored 16 points for the Spartans.
In the varsity boys’ standings, Crocus finished first with a 4-0 record, while Neelin (1-3) claimed second spot over the Vincent Massey Vikings (1-3) due to a better won-loss ratio versus Vincent Massey (plus-two).

The city’s JV semifinals on Feb. 21 will see Neelin at Crocus for a 6 p.m. tipoff, while the city’s varsity semifinals has Vincent Massey visiting Neelin for a 7:45 p.m. tipoff.
