Timbits players converge on a ball during a fun scrimmage session Tuesday night following skills development.

It’s the final week of U5 Timbits soccer, with this age group Wednesday night honing basic skills like dribbling and kicking the ball to prepare them when they start playing games.

Older siblings often help out the Timbits coaches during Brandon Minor Soccer practice sessions.

Lined up to do dribbling drills, this group of U5 Timbits players await a whistle from the coach. Soccer season ends this week for this younger age group.

Sometimes Timbits players are distracted with what’s happening on the sidelines versus the soccer pitch. Here, two players leave their practice to check out the umbrella being used to shade a parent during a Wednesday night practice session.

Moving up the mini-field with the ball, this Timbits player prepares to take a shot on a goalie-less net, as keeping score does not occur at the U5 level. Everyone is a winner, with parents sharing Timbits treats post-game.
