The Tri-City Americans are the sixth incarnation of a franchise that originally entered the Western Canadian Junior Hockey League as the Calgary Buffaloes.
After that season, they became the Calgary Centennials (1967–1977), Billings Bighorns (1977–1982), Nanaimo Islanders (1982–1983), New Westminster Bruins (1983–1988) and moved to Kennewick, Wash., to become the Tri-City Americans for the 1988-89 season.
Here’s a look at every game played in Brandon between the Wheat Kings and the Americans in the Internet era.
