Jessie Sumner scored 19 points as the Vincent Massey Vikings topped the Crocus Plainsmen 48-41 in Brandon High School Basketball League varsity girls’ action late Tuesday.

Kypling Black added 13 points for the Vikings, while Kate Hiebert posted 17 for the Plainsmen.

In the JV girls’ game, Crocus won 42-21 as Ava Keller netted 19 points.
