The Vincent Massey Vikings boys hockey team reached a new height earlier this week, taking the top spot in the Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association AAA/AAAA rankings.

Maintaining a perfect 27-0 record in Westman High School Hockey League action so far this season, and with just five games left to go in the regular season, the Vikings reached the No. 1 ranking for the first time in program history.

The Vikings play Boissevain and Minnedosa on the road this weekend before concluding with three home games Feb. 21-23.

The MHSAA boys hockey provincial championship runs March 14-17 in Winnipeg.
