The Vincent Massey Vikings have a chance to close out the Brandon High School Basketball League final on home court tonight.
Late Tuesday night, they took Game 1 61-43 over the host Crocus Plainsmen.
Jessie Sumner netted 17 points while Reece Cowan nailed five three-pointers for 15 points and Saphiya DeVlieger added 14 including four triples.
Rebecca Alebiosu led the Plainsmen with 10 points.
In the JV girls’ game, Crocus beat Massey 42-33 as Ava Keller dropped a game-high 14 points.
Today’s JV girls’ game starts at 6 p.m., with the varsity girls following at 7:45.
