BWK goal scorers: Braydyn Chizen, Linden McCorrister, Connor Gutenberg, Ben McCartney.

BWK goalie: Ethan Kruger.

Shots: 42-38 Bdn.

PP: BWK 0-4. Reg 1-4.

Attendance: 4,909.

RECAP: Austin Pratt tied the game with 3:30 left in the third period, and the teams had seven shots each in overtime. In the shootout, Stelio Mattheos scored in the second round and Luka Burzan had the winner in the fifth round.

2016-17

Date: Saturday, March 18, 2017

BWK goal scorers: None.

BWK goalie: Logan Thompson.

Shots: 44-34 Reg.

PP: BWK 0-7. Reg 0-1.

Attendance: 5,621.

RECAP: The Wheat Kings had a handful of top players out of the lineup as they were routed by the powerful Pats, who won the Eastern Conference crown. Jordan Hollett made 34 saves for the win.

2015-16

BWK goal scorers: Jayce Hawryluk (3)

BWK goalie: Jordan Papirny.

Shots: 51-18 Bdn.

PP: BWK 0-7. Reg 0-1.

Attendance: 5,404.

RECAP: Hawryluk scored twice in the second period and once in the third for the rare hat trick in a 3-0 game. Mitch Wheaton and Tanner Kaspick both had two assists.

2013-14

Brandon 6, Regina 3

Date: Saturday, March 15, 2014

BWK goal scorers: Peter Quenneville (3), Nolan Patrick, Ryan Pulock, Jens Meilleur.

BWK goalie: Jordan Papirny.

Shots: 38-32 Reg

PP: BWK 1-2. Reg 1-4.

Attendance: 5,247.

RECAP: Regina roared out to a 2-0 lead in the first 4:11, but Brandon struck for the next five goals. Tim McGauley had three assists, with John Quenneville assisting on one of his brother’s goals.

2011-12

Date: Saturday, March 17, 2012

BWK goal scorers: Brodie Melnychuk (2), Mark Stone (2), Ryley Miller, Darian Dziurzynski, Alessio Bertaggia.

BWK goalie: Corbin Boes.

Shots: 32-24 Bdn.

PP: BWK 2-7. Reg 0-2.

Attendance: 4,942.

RECAP: Dryden Hunt gave Regina the lead 84 seconds into the game, and after Melnychuk sniped, Regina scored again. Brandon took the lead before the first period ended and put the game away in the second period with four goals in six minutes.

2009-10

BWK goal scorers: Travis Hamonic, Brenden Walker, Aaron Lewadniuk.

BWK goalie: Andrew Hayes.

Shots: 40-35 Bdn.

PP: BWK 0-3. Reg 0-3.

Attendance: 6,042.

RECAP: Hamonic’s goal was his first as a Wheat King, and it came in his 10th game with the club after he was acquired from the Warriors injured and began playing on Feb. 20. Jordan Eberle scored his 50th goal of the season for the Pats.

2007-08

Date: Saturday, March 15, 2008

BWK goal scorers: Tyler Dittmer, Daniel Bartek, Jay Fehr.

BWK goalie: Joe Caligiuri.

Shots: 26-25 Bdn.

PP: BWK 0-6. Reg 0-5.

Attendance: 5,498.

RECAP: Brandon led 2-1 late when Kirt Hill tied the game with 59 seconds remaining in the third period. Incredibly, Fehr scored the winner 36 seconds later with 23 seconds left on the clock.

2006-07

Date: Saturday, March 16, 2007.

BWK goal scorers: Codey Burki (2), Mark Derlago (2), Andrew Clark (2), Robert Klinkhammer, Daniel Bartek, Nathan Green. BWK goalie: Tyler Plante.

Shots: 34-20 Bdn.

PP: BWK 5-9. Reg 1-7.

Attendance: 5,334.

RECAP: Just 5:36 into the game, Brandon led 2-1, foreshadowing the offensive explosion that lay ahead. The Wheat Kings put the game away with goals 30 seconds apart early in the second period as they took a 5-1 lead.

2005-06

Date: Friday, March 17, 2006

BWK goal scorers: Mark Derlago (2), John Wikner, Tyler Dittmer.

BWK goalie: Tyler Plante.

Shots: 25-25.

PP: BWK 2-6. Reg 0-2.

Attendance: 5,068.

RECAP: Regina opened the scoring and tied it 2-2, but Dittmer scored the winner midway through the third period and Derlago added a late empty netter for the win.

2003-04
