Here is a capsule look at the four Western Hockey League meetings this season between the Brandon Wheat Kings and Lethbridge Hurricanes.

Lethbridge 3, Brandon 1

• Date: March 7.

• At: VisitLethbridge.com Arena.

• BWK goal scorers: Caleb Hadland.

• LET scorers: Brayden Edwards, Caden Price, Logan Wormald.

• BWK goalie: Carson Bjarnason.

• LET goalie: Jackson Unger.

• Shots: 34-25 LET

• PP: BWK 0-3. LET 1-2.

• Attendance: 3,989.

• RECAP: After Edwards opened the scoring 7:15 into the game, Hadland tied it five minutes later. But the Hurricanes struck with goals 69 seconds apart as all the scoring was done in the first period.

• THEY SAID IT: Brandon head coach Marty Murray — “Overall it was a pretty disappointing effort. There’s no question some of these teams are really good but I felt as though our first period was really sluggish and we get down 3-1. We weren’t very involved until about two minutes left in the second period and in the third we had a little bit of zone time and chances but it’s frustrating. We have to start the game like that and give ourselves a chance. We’re starting behind the 8-ball when we have a poor first period.”

Brandon 4, Lethbridge 3 (SO)

• Date: Feb. 28.

• At: Westoba Place.

• BWK goal scorers: Jaxon Jacobson (2), Nolan Flamand.

• LET scorers: Kash Andresen, Brayden Edwards, Leo Braillard.

• BWK goalie: Carson Bjarnason.

• LET goalie: Jackson Unger.

• Shots: 41-25 LET.

• PP: BWK 1-4. LET 1-3.

• Attendance: 2,650.

• RECAP: Lethbridge led 2-1 after the first and Brandon was up 2-1 after the second, with Braillard tying it 12:42 into the third period. The Hurricanes outshot the Wheat Kings 4-1 in overtime but failed to solve Bjarnason. In the three-round shootout, Nick Johnson scored the only goal in a Brandon victory.

• THEY SAID IT: Lethbridge assistant coach Ryan Aasman — “I liked a few of our moments for sure. I just thought we got away from our details there with some bad penalties. It’s a momentum killer. We’re up 2-1 and you take a penalty at the end of the period and you take another one and that puts you down five-on-three. Now you’re down 3-2 in the second period trying to chase, and against a very good goalie, that’s hard to do.”

Lethbridge 3, Brandon 0

• Date: Nov. 11.

• At: Westoba Place.

• BWK goal scorers: None.

• LET scorers: Logan Wormald, Noah Chadwick, Miguel Marques.

BWK goalie: Carson Bjarnason.

• LET goalie: Koen Cleaver.

• Shots: 35-33 BWK.

• PP: BWK 0-1. LET 0-1.

• Attendance: 3,760.

• RECAP: The Hurricanes scored goals in the first five minutes of the first and second periods to go up 2-0 and Marques found the empty net late in the third period.

• THEY SAID IT: Lethbridge head coach Bill Peters — “I liked us. I liked our commitment, I liked they we played above the puck and how hard all four lines worked. I thought we had contributions from all 18 guys. And anytime you have a guy get his first Western Hockey League shutout, it’s exciting for him but also for the team.

Lethbridge 5, Brandon 3

• Date: Oct. 12.

• At: VisitLethbridge.com Arena.

• BWK goal scorers: Nolan Flamand (2), Marcus Nguyen.

• LET scorers: Logan Wormald (2), Cameron Norrie, Kooper Gizowski, Logan McCutcheon.

• BWK goalie: Ethan Eskit.

• LET goalie: Koen Cleaver.

• Shots: 34-34.

• PP: BWK 2-7. LET 1-7.

• Attendance: 3,103.

• RECAP: The Hurricanes raced to a 3-0 lead in the first 15 minutes but the Wheat Kings narrowed the lead to 3-2 on a goal by Nguyen. Wormald scored his second of the game two minutes later and it stood as the winner. McCutcheon’s late goal came into the empty net.

• THEY SAID IT: Brandon head coach Marty Murray — “We pushed back. Overall, I thought we had a pretty good effort. We pushed right to the end and had a pretty short lineup. I said to the guys even though we’re disappointed we didn’t get out of the game with any points, we’re at least hopeful we got our mojo back. We had a lot of really good looks and I think we hit four goal posts tonight.”
