The Vincent Massey Vikings girls softball team is advancing to provincials following a 28-0 win over the Major Pratt Trojans out of Russell Thursday afternoon in five innings.

Kasia Baranyk had five hits and scored four runs in the lead-off spot in Vincent Massey’s decisive victory. Macey McIvor and Quinn Twordik both contributed three hits and four runs for the Vikings.

With the win, the Vikings advance to the Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association provincial championship in Stonewall May 30-31.
