Hunter Oakden added another accolade to an impressive junior golf season on Thursday.

The Brandonite was named the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour juvenile boys’ order of merit winner for 2025. The OOM is awarded based on total points from the MJT season.

Oakden already won the Tamarack junior title at Clear Lake Golf Course in August, and captured the high school provincial title as a sophomore.

OOM winners, as well as a few other players from each province, depending on how many quota spots the province is given, head to the MJT national championship at Orange Lake Golf Resort in Kissimmee, Fla.

Brandon’s Zostrianos Giordani-Gross won the junior boys’ crown there last year.
