More than 150 fans saw the Vincent Massey Vikings play big-time spoiler for the Crocus Plainsmen’s Westman High School Hockey League home opener as they blanked the hosts 11-0 at Enns Brothers Arena on Sunday afternoon.
The Vikings, who took down Crocus on Friday with a 7-2 win, completed their home-and-home series sweep thanks to an eight-goal rally in the second period.
Massey forward Dylan Duncalfe had himself a night to remember with one goal and two assists, while Cole Rigaux and Owen Deleau both notched a pair of points, before goaltender Madden Cheung put the cherry on top of a remarkable effort with his first shutout of the year.

The Vikings will be in action next on Friday against the Birtle/Shoal Lake/Rossburn Falcons, who will also play the Plainsmen later in the weekend on Sunday.
