Dauphin’s Eric Prokopowich helped the Manitoba Bisons win a bronze medal at the Canada West men’s golf championships on Tuesday in Chilliwack, B.C.

Prokopowich carded a 2-under 70 in the second round, following up a 74 to sit tied for 19th in the individual event while contributing to the Bisons’ score of 21-under par.

Manitoba finished eight shots back of UBC Okanagan.

Manitoba’s Rory Neill shot 64 on Tuesday to finish tied for second at 9 under, one shot back of Victoria’s Owen Croft.
