Both Neelin Spartans varsity volleyball teams will play for a medal today.
The Neelin girls swept Leo-Remillard 25-23, 25-20 in the AAA provincial quarterfinals in Winnipeg on Friday afternoon.
They’ll play Altona’s W.C. Miller Aces today in the semifinals at 10 a..m., at Linden Christian, with Westgate and Stonewall meeting in the other semifinal.
The Spartans boys beat the Niverville Panthers 17-25, 25-14, 15-11 in their quarterfinal.
Neelin plays Louis-Riel at Springs Christian Academy at 10 a.m., with Linden Christian and Garden Valley squaring off in the second semifinal.
Both finals are at 2:15 p.m.
