• 30 YEARS AGO — Brandon goaltender Jason Skilnick posted his first WHL shutout and fellow rookies David Darguzas and Burke Henry scored their first goals in a 6-0 win over Moose Jaw.
• 20 YEARS AGO — Kris Wiebe’s goal early in the first period lifted the Pembina Valley Hawks past the Brandon Wheat Kings 3-2 and into sole possession of first place in the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League’s West Division.
