Ashton Opperman scored 14 points as the Vincent Massey Vikings varsity boys basketball team beat the Selkirk Royals 99-44 to open the J.H. Bruns Bronco Invitational tournament in Winnipeg on Thursday.
Knox Smith led Massey with 16 points.
The Vikings play the Tec Voc Hornets in today’s semifinals at 3 p.m.
The final is on Saturday at 1 p.m.
