The Assiniboine College Cougars swept a home-and-home series with a pair of 5-1 victories over the Dakota College at Bottineau Lumberjacks over the weekend in the American Collegiate Hockey Association’s women’s Division 2 action.
On Sunday afternoon at the Bottineau Lumberdome, Victoria Mann had a hat trick and Kylee Emms-Finnsson and Veronica Smarz also sniped.Kasey Fouillard and Montana Jubenvill both had a pair of helpers.
Rachel Halldorson made 19 saves for AC, with Riley Richardson stopping 38 shots for Dakota College.
On Saturday evening at the Sportsplex, Jenna Walker scored twice and Veronica Smarz, Kali Remillard and Kadence Cress scored as the Cougars earned a 5-1 win.
Halldorson made 22 saves for AC, with Richardson stopping 48 shots for Dakota College.
