Ivy Perkin of the Westman Wildcats has been named most valuable player of the Manitoba Female Hockey League U18 AAA.

The 17-year-old Elgin product led the league with 80 points on 33 goals and 47 assists in 35 games, 31 points ahead of the second-place finisher, Cali Lavallee of the Winnipeg Avros.

The Eastman Selects swept the other major awards, with Vayda Rigaux named the top blue-liner, Addison Tomes the top goalie and Emilie Carriere the rookie of the year. Winnipeg Avros forward Addilyn Nohlgren won the sportsmanship award.

The first all-star team included the goalie Tomes, defenders Rigaux and Claire Hudson of the Winnipeg Ice, and forwards Perkin, Braya Kapusta of the Avros and Delaney Rigaux of the Selects.

The second all-star included goalie Gina Plett of the Ice, blue-liners Haley Chipelski of the Yellowhead Chiefs and Chloe Carriere of the Selects, plus forwards Nohlgren, Lavallee and Cassie Carvalho of the Ice.
