The Souris Sabres went into AA varsity girls’ basketball provincials as the top team and stayed that way.
Souris defeated Glenboro-Carberry-Baldur 62-52 in the gold-medal game in Warren on Saturday to clinch the title.
The Sabres beat the Rosenort Redhawks 85-32 and the host Warren Wildcats 114-40 en route to the final.
In the A provincials in Ste. Rose, the Glenboro-Baldur boys beat the Wanipigow Stingers 72-47 in the title game.
It defeated Chief Sam Cook 109-39 and Ste. Rose 95-36 to reach the final.
