The under-13 Westman Magic improved to 6-0 in Manitoba Premier Softball League action with a pair of series sweeps.

On Friday, they topped the Manitoba Angels 21-3 and 12-5, and then on Saturday they edged the Winnipeg Lightning 8-1 and 6-5.

They host the Manitoba Angels on Saturday at 1 and 3 p.m., and Central Energy on Sunday at noon and 2 o’clock at Ashley Neufeld Softball Complex.

U15 MAGIC

They fell to 0-4 on the season with a pair of losses to the Eastman Wildcats, losing 12-0 and 9-2.

They travel to Portage la Prairie’s Republic of Manitobah Park on Wednesday to meet Central Energy in a pair of games originally set for May 14 that were postponed due to the wind.

On Saturday, they meet the Lightning in Winnipeg for a doubleheader, and then they host the Interlake Phillies on Sunday at noon and 2.

U17 MAGIC

The Magic were 2-2 heading into Sunday’s games against the Eastman Wildcats, for which scores were unavailable.

On Friday, they lost 10-2 and 16-6 to Central Energy.

They meet Smittys Terminators on Sunday.

U19 MAGIC

The Magic were 1-4 heading into last night’s late game, which finished after deadline.

On Saturday, they fell 11-5 and 13-3 to Central Energy, and they dropped the front half of a doubleheader 4-0 on Sunday to Eastman.

They don’t see action again until June 20.
