Vincent Massey’s Charlot Butler was just too much for the Crocus Plainsmen on Thursday.

The Vikings speedster scored four tries and made a smart pass to set up one of Oreoluwa Abikoye’s two as Massey (2-3-0) romped to a 52-7 win over Crocus (0-5-0) in Westman High School Rugby girls’ action on Thursday in the final game of the regular season.

Jacquie Huntinghawk touched the ball down twice and kicked six converts for Massey.

The Crocus boys also triumphed, with Logan Sedgwick’s two tries leading the Plainsmen to a 29-7 win over Massey.

Reilly Keele and Brian Kwak both touched the ball done once and Bret Greer added a try and two converts for Crocus (4-2-0). Gavin Reid replied with a try and convert for Massey (3-3-0).

Meanwhile, the visiting Souris Sabres swept the Swan Valley Tigers in Swan River.

In the boys’ game, which ended in a 68-0 Souris victory, Sam West and Andy Lovatt each had three tries, with West adding a convert. Federico Vargas added two tries and three converts, Jordan Chudley touched the ball down twice and Randy Cooke and Cole Thomas added one try each. Souris improved to 6-0-0, while Swan Valley fell to 1-4-1.

The Souris girls won by a nearly identical margin, 68-5. Parker Janz scored three tries, with Kendra Roberts, Jasmine Engelbretson and Harleigh Renwich each contributing two. Katie Goldrich-McFaul scored once, with Janelle Eastman adding a try and four converts for Souris (3-2-0).
