Neelin Spartans’ Irie Taylor, Zerek Menard and Wyatt Greer have been named to Basketball Manitoba’s 2022 A-AAA boys graduating all-star team.
The trio led Neelin to the AAA provincial title last month.
Alex Kubinec of Treherne and Will VanSchie, Cody Drinkwater and Ryan Ediger of Glenboro also cracked the squad, with Glenboro coach Ryan Diehl.
Neelin’s Kassidy Loewen and Milaina Nachtigall made the A-AAA girls team along with Neepawa’s Shelby Gluska and Dauphin’s Calista Hudyma and Dalmarie Lavallee, Souris Sabres Bailey Kreusch and Kenzie Laursen, Glenboros Kiera Potvin and Rivers Brianne Zemliak.
Crocus Plainsmen Emma Wiebe and Xuan Can made the AAAA girls team.
No Westman players were selected to the AAAA boys team.
The all-star games are on April 16 at the Canada Games Sport for Life Centre in Winnipeg at 1 p.m. (A-AAA) and 3 p.m. (AAAA).
The players of the year and all-Manitoba teams are announced that day.
