Hockey Brandon handed out some hardware at its annual awards banquet on Thursday.
Here is a list of their award winners:
• Referee Level 1 Award — Carter Loewen
• Most Improved Referee — Will Adams
• Don Robertson Memorial Award (most dedicated coach in a house league) — Glen Simard
•Tory Campbell Memorial Award (hardest-working house league player) — Ewan Sneesby
• Bob Gillies Memorial Award (providing support to a team in a non-coaching role) — Brett Wilson
• Arnold Nichol Memorial Award (most dedicated coach in Initiation/Timbit program) — Blair Champagne and Craig Ethelston
• Precision Toyota Coach of the Year (for rep teams) — Jeff Sass
• Tournament of Champions Player of the Year (for graduating bantam AAA player) — Nolan Wallace
• Executive Award/Manager of the Year — Ken Poirier and Kyla Stewart
• Glen Parker Award (exemplary service to youth in Hockey Brandon) — Bob Lawrence
• Leech Printing Award (coach, manager, parent who demonstrated commitment and sportsmanship in female hockey — Kami-Rae Caswell
