Jase Wareham turned aside all 36 shots he faced Tuesday night in Shoal Lake as he helped the Yellowhead Chiefs pick up a 2-0 win over the Southwest Cougars in Manitoba Under-18 AAA Hockey League action.
Lincoln Murray and Cooper Kasprick both scored for the 13-11-3 Chiefs, who will visit the Brandon Wheat Kings Friday.
The 16-12-1 Cougars — who are now preparing for a road trip to Winnipeg this weekend to face the Thrashers — received an 19-save effort from Owen LaRocque.
