With the advent of the playoffs, forward Ginger Fast of the third-place Eastman Selects dominated her final weekend of the regular season.

A third-year player from Niverville, Fast had a goal and three assists in two victories.

Meanwhile, goalie of the week honours went to Elyse Denbow of the eighth-place Central Plains Capitals.

A Grade 11 student from Plumas, Denbow backstopped the Capitals to a 6-2 win against the seventh-place Hawks, saving 45 of 47 shots, and a 3-2 shootout win against the sixth-place Interlake Lightning, saving 37 of 39 and stopping all three shootout shooters.

A member of the Hockey Manitoba U18 team, Denbow finished second in the league with a .947 save percentage.
