Rinor Hoxha scored four goals as the Brandon University Bobcarts beat the visiting Red River Rebels 6-2 in Manitoba Colleges Athletics Conference men’s soccer action on Saturday.
With the BU pitch unplayable due to heavy rain last week, the Bobcats (3-0-1) made the Vincent Massey field home in the game, which also saw and Kevin Lopez add a pair of goals.
The Rebels fell to 1-2-0.
In the women’s game on Saturday, Brandon University (1-2-1) fell 3-2 as the Red River Rebels responded to a pair of deficits with a second half goal that proved to be the winner for the visitors (3-0-1).
Ashley Seekings and Kiera Riehl had the Bobcats goals.
