The Viterra Championship will take place next month in Selkirk.

According to Jason Bell of the Winnipeg Free Press, the 28 rinks that will compete in the event were informed in an email from CurlManitoba that the event will be held as planned at the Selkirk Curling Club from Feb. 9-13.

The men’s provincial playdowns were originally supposed to be held from Jan. 25-30 at the Selkirk Recreation Complex, but was postponed due to Manitoba’s current COVID-19 health orders.

The winner of the event will go on to the Tim Hortons Brier in March in Lethbridge, Alta.
