A number of Brandon Bluefins swimmers set personal bests at the Bison Sprint Meet today and some qualified for the upcoming Golden Plains Invitational meet.

Thirteen-year-old Ellen Clark set personal bests in her three swims, the 200 IM (3:20.30, 19th), 50 Back (41.48, 13th) and 50 Free (35.54, 28th).

Twelve-year-old Charlie Gauthier also had three personal bests, in the 50 Fly (43.29 15th), 50 Breast (54.17, 16th) and 50 Free (38.46, 26th).

Allie Gauthier, 16, didn’t set any personal bests but won the 50 Back (32.73) and was 10th in the 50 Free (30.88).

Nine-year-old Halin Li set three personal bests and established 10-and-under A times in the 50 Fly (46.10, 18th), 50 Back (47.65, 18th) and 50 Free (38.19, 23rd).

Jialin Li, 11, set three personal bests, qualified for the GPI and set two 12-and-under A times in the 200 IM (3:31.73, 14th), 50 Back (43.14, 10th) and 50 Free (35.86, 18th).

Sarah Martin, 14, set personal bests in the 200 IM (3:31.00, 20th), 50 Fly (41.43, 17th) and 50 Free (38.27, 34th).

Thirteen-year-old Gustov Moller’s three swims included three personal bests and a 13 A time as he participated in the 200 IM (3:19.87, 11th), 50 Breast (46.45, 6th) and 50 Free (34.19, 12th).

Jaeda Norrie, 12, set a pair of personal bests in her three swims in the 50 Back (57.43, 32nd), 50 Breast (1:03.79, 26th) and 50 Free (44.51, 39th).

Rhiannon Woodcock, 12, set a pair of personal bests in her three swims in the 50 Back (47.00, 16th) and 50 Free (41.73, 29th).

The GPI, which is hosted by the Manitoba Marlins, is held in Winnipeg.
