30 YEARS AGO — Greg Willms and Scott Preston each hammered two home runs and collected five RBI as Kelsey’s outscored the Kornerstone Kings 18-12 in a Brandon Merchants Fastball League game.

20 YEARS AGO — The Wheat City Storm girls’ under-12 soccer team placed second at the Regina Soccerfest tournament. Lisa Nelson, Danielle Rocan and Courtney Baxter scored in the finals for the Storm, who fell in penalty kicks to Swift Current United.
