• 50 YEARS AGO — Terry Kindrat and Danny Corcoran scored for the Olympians as they picked up a 2-1 win over the Spartans in Brandon Senior Soccer League action. Stan Cwiertnia replied for the Spartans.
• 40 YEARS AGO — Don Pangman tossed a four-hitter at Curran Park to pace UCT to a 5-1 triumph over Active Muffler in the Brandon Centennial Fastball League.
• 30 YEARS AGO — Darrell Nickel scored twice to spark the Victoria Inn Titans to a 4-1 triumph over Sokol Club in a Brandon Senior Men’s Soccer League game at Optimist Park.
