Brandon Wheat Kings director of player personnel Chris Moulton discusses what he likes about each of the players the club drafted on Thursday.

Home: Wilcox, Sask.
5-11, 175 lbs, F, Notre Dame U15.
20gp, 15g, 11a, 26p, 19pim.
“Joby is a complete player who has a pro-like shot, who is strong on the puck, who has the ability to score off the rush but also create offence by saving some space. He’s a hard guy to get off the puck and he has the ability to score from anywhere.”
• ROUND TWO (34th overall) — Easton Odut
Home: Brandon.
5-7, 150 lbs, F, Brandon U15
31gp, 36g, 39a, 75p, 52pim.
“Easton is a tenacious player who gives it everything he’s got every game. He also complements that with skill and creativity with the puck. What you see in Easton is what you get in a continuous basis with his character and work ethic.”
• ROUND THREE (56th overall) — Emerson Clark
Home: Saskatoon.
5-10, 153 lbs, D, Saskatoon Stallions U15.
31gp, 12g, 29a, 41p, 16pim.
“Emerson is a smooth-skating defenceman who has the ability to create off the rush but also skate away from players as well as track players with his skating and mobility. He does a great job at reading the play.”
• ROUND FOUR (78th overall) — Gradey Hope
Home: Kelowna, B.C.
6-0, 168 lbs, D, OHA U15 prep.
20gp, 2g, 6a, 8p, 22pim.

• ROUND FIVE (97th overall) — Brady Turko
Home: Brandon.
5-4, 120 lbs, F, Brandon U15.
32gp, 30g, 51a, 81p, 8pim.
“Brady is a smart player who has the ability to read plays and create offence. He’s also a well-balanced guy who understands how to play away from the puck. He also has a chance to be a bigger player as he gets older.”
• ROUND FIVE (100th overall) — Quinn Parker
Home: Winnipeg.
6-1, 160 lbs, D, Winnipeg Wild U15.
30gp, 22g, 17a, 39p, 74pim.
“Quinn is a bigger, 200-foot player who has a real knack for putting the puck in the net. He’s strong on pucks, he always plays with compete, he wins puck battles and he’s not afraid to get in the areas he needs to, to score.”
• ROUND SEVEN (144th overall) — Dominic Grieco
Home: Lethbridge, Alta.
5-9, 147 lbs, F/D/G, Lethbridge U15.
22gp, 18g, 11a, 29p, 44pim.

• ROUND EIGHT (158th overall) — Ryder Green

• ROUND EIGHT (166th overall) — Tao Flory
Home: Saskatoon
5-11, 161 lbs, D, Saskatoon Bandits U15.
29gp, 2g, 7a, 9p, 32pim.

Home: Pitt Meadows, B.C.
6-2, 194 lbs, D, Shawinigan Lake prep.
