The 10th Anniversary Tribute to Tourism Awards were held June 5 in the Regency Ballroom at the Royal Oak Inn and Suites. More than 150 people were in attendance to enjoy a wonderful evening with entertainment by Big Daddy Tazz. The emcee was CJRB's Barry Lamb, of Boissevain.

The 10th Anniversary Tribute to Tourism Awards were held June 5 in the Regency Ballroom at the Royal Oak Inn and Suites. More than 150 people were in attendance to enjoy a wonderful evening with entertainment by Big Daddy Tazz. The emcee was CJRB’s Barry Lamb, of Boissevain.

The winners of the evening were: Marketing excellence — Brandon Jazz Festival, Service Excellence — Tilson Place Bed and Breakfast in Minnedosa, Volunteer of the Year — Polly Hardy of Deloraine, Aspiring Youth — Laine Wilson of Carberry, Partnership — Minnedosa 100th Grey Cup Tour Train Committee, Product Development — Tundra Oil and Gas Place and Event of the Year — Strathclair Drama Club (Annual Musical Production).

Additional nominees were: Provincial Exhibition of Manitoba, Deloraine RCMP Musical Ride Committee, Brandon University Students Union, The Gateway Motel in Minnedosa, Robins Nest Motel and Cafe in Carberry, Sylvia Barr of Brandon, Sandra Jones of Carberry, Jake Dietrich of Deloraine, Brandon Global Market Committee, International Peace Gardens in Boissevain, Terry Fox Memorial Park Committee from RM of Riverside, Daly House Museum, and Brandon Folk Music and Art Festival.
