• Noon — The 17th annual Brandon Zombie Walk will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at Stanley Park (1410 Princess Ave.) will all proceeds going to One At A Time Rescue. Everyone welcome. No need to eat your fellow zombies’ brains, we will have hotdogs, drinks, chips, and popcorn, and for those who still have their ears, some great music! There will be undead games and activities for the young dead as well as bouncy castles. Come and the hunt as we walk the apocalyptic streets of Brandon and bring your furry critters with you … just be sure to clean up their messes. Don’t forget to bring your spare limbs to donate!

• Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum (CATPM) (Brandon Municipal Airport, Highway 10, 1.6 kilometres north of Brandon) — Canada’s only air museum solely dedicated to the preservation of those who trained and fought for the British Commonwealth during the Second World War. After nearly two years of planning and hard work, a Noorduyn Norseman has arrived at CATPM, adding one of Canada’s most iconic aircraft to the museum’s growing collection. • Royal Canadian Artillery Museum (Building N-118 Patricia Rd., CFB Shilo) — Discover “WWII Command Posts,” a temporary exhibit at the RCA Museum, showcasing Canada’s mobile command vehicles and their role in co-ordinating artillery and communications during the Second World War.
