• 3 p.m. — The Evans Theatre presents the film, “The Singing Revolution,” a film about the musical journey Estonians undertook to liberate their country from Soviet rule. • 26th Field Regiment RCA/XII Manitoba Dragoons Museum — Come visit and see a vast collection of historical military items. • The Commonwealth Air Training Plan Museum — Hours are 1 p.m.-4 p.m, seven days a week. The museum is Canada’s only air museum solely dedicated to the preservation of the history of those who trained and fought for the British Commonwealth during the Second World War. Check out our RCAF Memorial Wall display in the museum’s hangar. The first granite panel of 54 is on display, along with a scale model of the completed memorial, which will feature more than 19,000 fatalities with a bronze statue representing the fallen.
• The Brandon General Museum and Archives — On the ground floor of the old Manitoba Telephone building at 19 Ninth St. Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. See the B.J. Tickets are $100 and a tax receipt will be issued for part of the ticket. Proceeds go towards programming in the 2014 years and ongoing costs of developing the Strand Community Performance and Art Centre.
