SHERBROOKE, Que. – Vsevolod Komarov scored the game-winning goal with 17 seconds left in overtime to power the Québec Remparts past the Sherbrooke Phoenix 5-4 on Thursday.
Pier-Olivier Roy, Jérémy Langlois, Théo Rochette and Nathan Gaucher also scored for Québec (38-6-1-2), which sits atop the Eastern Conference. William Rousseau made 29 saves.
Cole Huckins, Milo Roelens, Jakub Brabenec and Jacob Melanson replied for Western Conference-leading Sherbrooke (31-12-3-2). Olivier Adam stopped 37-of-42 shots.
