RIMOUSKI, Que. – Mathieu Cataford scored three goals, Jonathan Fauchon and Eriks Mateiko each had two assists, and the Rimouski Oceanic rolled past the visiting Charlottetown Islanders 5-1 in Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League action on Sunday.
Anthony Pare and Thomas Belzil also scored for the East Division-leading Oceanic (42-13-2-2), who lead 2-1 after the first period and 3-1 heading into the third.
Simon Hughes scored a power-play goal for the Islanders (27-27-4-1), who were outshot 39-15.
The Oceanic went 2-for-5 on the power play, while the Islanders were 1-for-3.

Matt Gosselin scored twice for the West Division-leading Armada (34-18-5-2), while Egor Goriunov netted a single. Vincent Dejardins chipped in with four assists, while Xavier Villeneuve added three helpers and Olivier Lemieux added a pair.
