REGINA – Tommy Lafreniere’s second goal of the game, scored at 2:12 of overtime, lifted the visiting Kamloops Blazers to a 4-3 Western Hockey League victory over the Regina Pats on Monday.

Nathan Behm and Jordan Keller also scored for the Blazers (4-4-0-0), who led 1-0 after the first period and 2-1 heading into the third. JP Hurlbert pitched in with four assists.

Julien Maze, Caden Brown and Zachary Lansard scored for the Pats (1-5-1-0), who outshot the visitors 36-32.

Netminder Logan Edmonstone stopped 33 of 36 shots for the Blazers, while Kelton Pyne stopped 28 of 32 shots for the Pats.

OIL KINGS 6 HURRICANES 2

EDMONTON, Alta. — Miroslav Holinka scored twice and added three assists as the Edmonton Oil Kings topped the visiting Lethbridge Hurricanes 6-2.

Lukas Sawchyn scored twice for the Oil Kings (7-2-0-0), while Poul Andersen and Joe Iginla netted singles.

Shane Smith scored twice for the Hurricanes (2-8-0-0), who were outshot 36-27.

Oil Kings Netminder Ethan Simcoe stopped 25 of 27 shots for the Oil Kings, while Leif Oaten saved 30 of 36 shots for the Hurricanes.

WINTERHAWKS 3 HITMEN 2

CALGARY, Alta. — Jake Gustafson’s goal at 14:28 of the third period snapped a 2-2 deadlock and lifted the visiting Portland Winterhawks to a 3-2 win over the Calgary Hitmen.

Will McLaughlin and Ryan Miller also scored for the Winterhawks (4-4-0-0), who were outshot 34-29.

Kale Dach and Brandon Gorzynski scored for the Hitmen (4-3-0-0).

Winterhawks goaltender Ondrej Štěbeták stopped 32 of 34 shots, while Aidan Hesse stopped 26 of 29 shots for the Hitmen.

ROYALS 3 VEES 2 (OT)

PENTICTON, B.C. — Heath Nelson scored 70 seconds into overtime to lift the visiting Victoria Royals to a 3-2 win over the Penticton Vees.

Wyatt Danyleyko and Jacob Schwartz also scored for the Royals (4-2-2-0), who led 1-0 after the first period but trailed 2-1 heading into the third.

Tristan Petersen and Brady Birnie scored for the Vees (5-2-1-0), who were outshot 31-29.

Netminder Ethan Eskit stopped 27 of 29 shots for the Royals, while Andrew Reyelts stopped 28 of 31 shots for the Vees.
