Cavalry FC goalkeeper Marco Carducci has been nominated for the Canadian Premier League’s Golden Glove award for the fifth time in the league’s seven-year history,
Carducci is up against Atletico Ottawa’s Nathan Ingham and Forge FC’s Jassem Koleilat.
The winner, to be decided in a vote by the CPL clubs’ technical leadership as well as select media, will be announced Nov. 7 in Ottawa as part of the 2025 CPL championship game festivities.
Carducci won the top ‘keeper award in 2019 and 2022 and was also nominated in 2021 and 2023.
The 29-year-old from Calgary played every minute of Cavalry’s 2025 regular season. The Cavalry captain recorded seven clean sheets and finished second among all CPL goalkeepers in total successful long passes (131).
Ingham, 32, led all CPL ‘keepers (with at least 500 minutes played) in save percentage (74.1) and ranked second in total saves (80) and goals-against average (1.00). His 11 shutouts were a single-season record for Ottawa, which booked its ticket to the championship game with a 2-1 win over Forge on Sunday.
Ingham was also nominated for the award in 2022.
Koleilat, 26, led the league with a record 13 clean sheets. He also recorded a goals-against average of 0.78, third-lowest mark in league history among goalkeepers with at least 1,000 minutes played. His 73.8 percent save percentage ranked second among CPL ‘keepers.
It’s the Forge ‘keeper’s first Golden Glove nomination.
Voting for the CPL’s Golden Glove award is based on performances during the 2025 regular season.
