WINDSOR – Liam Greentree had a goal and two assists, Joey Costanzo made 20 saves, and the Windsor Spitfires blanked the visiting Kingston Frontenacs 3-0 in Ontario Hockey League action on Thursday.

AJ Spellacy and Jack Nesbitt also scored for the West Division-leading Spitfires (14-3-1-1), who outshot the visitors 30-20.

The Spitfires, who were 0-for-3 on the power play, led 2-0 after the first period. The second period was scoreless.

Netminder Gavin Betts stopped 27 of 30 shots for the Frontenacs (7-8-0-1).

Elsewhere in the OHL on Thursday:

COLTS 6 WOLVES 2

BARRIE, Ont. — Brad Gardiner had two goals and an assist, Cole Beaudoin had four assists, and the Barrie Colts beat the visiting Sudbury Wolves 6-2.

Bode Stewart, Joe Salandra, Nicholas Desiderio and Kashawn Aitcheson also scored for the Colts (8-7-0-3). Emil Hemming pitched in with three assists, and Aitcheson added a pair of helpers.

Jan Chovan and Liam Ladds scored for the Wolves (4-12-1-0), who were outshot 40-39 and trailed 4-2 heading into the third period. Hudson Martin had two assists.

The Colts went 2-for-3 on the power play, while the Wolves were 0-for-7 with the man advantage.

PETES 4 BULLDOGS 3 (OT)

PETERBOROUGH, Ont. — Adam Novotny’s second goal of the game, scored at 3:32 of overtime, lifted the Peterborough Petes to a 4-3 win over the visiting Brantford Bulldogs.

Brennan Faulkner and Aiden Young also scored for the Petes (8-7-1-1), who outshot the visitors 35-33, and 2-1 in overtime. Braydon McCallum and Young chipped in with two assists as well.

Cooper Dennis scored twice for the Bulldogs (13-0-3-1), while Adam Benak added a single and two assists.

The Petes went 1-for-5 on the power play, while the Bulldogs were 2-for-4.

67’s 4 ICEDOGS 3 (OT)

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. — Kohyn Eshkawkogan scored at 1:15 of overtime to give the visiting Ottawa 67’s a 4-3 win over the Niagara IceDogs.

Nathan Amidovski, Nic Whitehead and Jasper Kuhta also scored for the 67’s (11-5-1-0), who outshot the hosts 36-32.

Liam Spencer, Ryan Roobroeck and Kevin He scored for the IceDogs (10-5-1-1), who went 0-for-1 on the power play.

Ryder Fetterolf stopped 29 of 32 shots for the 67’s, while Vladislav Yermolenko stopped 32 of 36 shots for the IceDogs.
